Section Aims
- To extensively characterize against a wide panel of B-cells malignancies the expression patterns of molecules with an already designated CD number, but whose expression has not yet been investigated in detail.
- To carry out preliminary tests in selected subsets of B-cell malignancies, examining the reactivity of antibodies allegedly recognizing "novel" molecules; i.e. molecules that lack an assigned CD number.
- To propose selected antibodies not only as novel diagnostic and/or prognostic tools, but also as putative therapeutic targets in selected B-cell malignancies.

Gene families that will be investigated
- TNFSF and TNFRSF families
- FcRH family (Fc Receptor homologues - IRTA molecules)
- SLAM/CD2 family
- Siglec family (Sialic acid-binding immunoglobulin superfamily lectins)
- Integrin family
- Interleukin Receptors family
- Chemokine Receptors family
- Purinergic Receptors family
- CD28/B7 family
- TLR family (Toll-like receptors)
- MS4A family (Multigene four-transmembrane family related to CD20)
To participate
We will provide a panel of mAbs (80 to 100 mAbs) that recognize those molecules listed in the "Gene families that will be investigated" section.
